Although this is the first time that CSIR-UGC-NET is going to conduct Engineering Sciences examination, 90% of the engineering students are unaware of the approach towards it. This is the first time, so, comparatively less number of students are availing this examination. This is the plus point for those who are aware of CSIR-NET. It is a good option to keep as a backup for one’s career.
Every engineering student has a perspective of learning the things. So, according to CSIR-NET, they are demanding best of engineers from all over the country to serve research areas as per the youth of new generation. So, CSIR-NET enhances the syllabus of examination from technical portion of a single stream to technical portion of all the streams on the same platform. 70 questions from 7 streams and candidate need to answer just 20 out of them. This means that knowledge of minimum two engineering fields is required.
Along with this technical portion, we need the knowledge of physics numerical part which is mentioned in Part B in addition to engineering mathematics in order to gain good score. Quick analysis and good attempt of aptitude is must for Section A. Although the level of CSIR-NET questions is same as that of GATE, but little more efforts in few different fields will definitely let you go through it. In this examination, what matters is SELF – CONFIDENCE to do extra portion. GOOD LUCK!
